Nope once the axle is snapped there is nothing else holding the wheel in except the brake caliper.

Must not be. This is so depressing. I already miss my truck. I took a special detour south after leaving raptoberfest to see it. I know its in good hands at Ford and I'll fly out and pick it up in a few days.

Damn 2 of you snapped your axles this weekend. I see Pat has his fixed already. What's the plan for getting yours repaired?

Actually I left after 4pm on sunday and Pat was still working on it with Rusty. He had to run to Dallas to pick up an axle. I am sure he got it fixed though.

You should have then install a 2012 axle, they are a bit stronger.

Lol pretty sure I took out the diff, axle, and maybe something else. Mines a 2012 with 54k miles on it.


If you look closely you can see that my front right tire is off the wheel.....whoops
