Headed out to Tooele on the 13th. Did RA while my buddy took my truck and went joy riding. Happily, neither of us broke anything. My riding partner wasn't comfortable maskless, so we went full outlaw.

When that was done, we headed down to the Henry Mountains for some hiking and camping. It was mildly scenic.

The smoke made for nice sunsets.

Then we headed over to the San Juan River area just above Lake Powell. Found an illegal campsite.

Then into a remote part of Grand Gulch proper via a San Juan County road of moderate difficulty.

Where we found a nice campsite for a few days. Four nights in there and no one else came by. Nice.

The road was just hard enough to be interesting without being scary. Here I paused in the middle of a mellow step for a hero shot. On the less mellow steps I was too busy admiring the sky to stop. Scraped both of the running boards and dragged the trailer hitch, but had no problems with 1000 pound load and tires at 38 all around. That fat-bottomed girl ate it up like free coke at a frat party. :)

For our last night out, we drove into Western Colorado where I found a neat little natural bridge.

Back in town after eleven days of fun and getting ready to go back again next week.

Nice. Did a sim road trip. Ca to Tooele drive in one day. Did the RA. Was awesome. Then hit Bryce Canyon down the 70 and 89. Then hit Zion, then flagstaff, the to our home in Prescott. Made a full week out of it.
Love the 80 mph speed limit in UT. Seems like UT drivers are pretty decent and abide by the SLOWER TRAFFIC STAY RIGHT
