Still I don't see why a stronger steel will make much of a difference for theses?


Agreed stamped steel is always stringing then the same thickness welded.

Stamping is ideally forging into shape. With no corners and flowing curves it's stronger then a fabbed setup.

Welding rod has nothing to do with it as joe said. Your weak point is never the weld, it's the area next to it.

Mild steel gives. It moves with minor cracking. More carbon = more brittle. Hardened steels crack very easily compared to non hardened mild steel

I can't think of any suspension/chassis parts that I would want made from high carbon steel especially parts that would require welding.
