Keypad went bad

My door keypad went bad, 9/0 button quit........ took it in and its an order part. got to take it back in a couple days for the repair.

checked the other forums and it seems this is not an uncommon problem.

I really like the feature though.

I too like the feature but I wonder if enough people use them for Ford to continue putting it on. It'd be an easy way for Ford to save money and that seems to be the goal these days.

I really like having my keypad as I can get into my truck without my keys. Handy when I need to grab something out of my truck.

I love it and use it all the time. I hope Ford doesn't stop putting it on; just one more thing to set themselves apart.

Ford has had this option for a long time and I don't see them getting rid of it anytime soon.
