I do see more light in the back up camera, but I can't tell any difference in my view when backing up.

So if anything, it helps the rearview camera.

I just installed the same ones today... I'll shoot some when it gets dark, I promised another friend I'd do it as well.

Here's the view outside the truck... About 40 feet to the back wall in my alley.



Looks really good, nice output and gives you plenty of light to see! Thinking of installing a bypass switch now, so I can turn them on whenever I want, for work lights.

Thanks for the pics Blue. Do you mind linking me to those LEDs? Also, how far away was the beam from the rear of the truck (just a guesstimate would do fine)?
