Since I found some mixed information while trying to research what LEDs I wanted and need on my Raptor without having to go through a vendor and pay 10x as much, I thought it best to start my own thread to showing what is need, links to where I got mine, prices, pictures and even some video.

INTERIOR
For the map lights by the rear view mirror it takes TWO 194 bulbs, the one I got has 6 Samsung LEDs on it.

For the dome lights, I used one 42mm festoon type 6-SMD Samsung LED bulbs. SCrew trucks have 3 bulbs.

For the vanity mirror lights I used #74 bulbs with 4 SMD LEDs, my truck took 2 total, only 1 light per mirror.

EXTERIOR (FRONT)
Front signals are 3157 bulbs, I bought a pair of 54-SMD LED amber bulbs. By doing this, I had no flasher issues on my truck.

Front side markers are 194 size bulbs, I bought a pair of 5-SMD LED amber bulbs.

Puddle lights, I used 31mm festoon you have to cut the lense off them and once that is done you can replace the bulbs, all plug & play. Just make sure to seal it up good, I used some 5min epoxy to seal mine up.

Cargo and reverse lights I used 921/194 bulbs, bought a pair of 25W LED white bulbs.

How's the color on the front ambers? Do the match well with the marker lights, or are they a different shade of amber? Also can't wait to see if the 13W fit the reverse bulbs. I'm gonna try to find a website that sells em because I'm not a fan of ebay.

Man I wish you posted this last month. I bought a kit for convienence, and it's about $50-$75 more in the end, but I ended up running into issues that I'm hoping I can resolve to get the results that you did.

Few quick questions,

1- Taillights, why did you get red? Why not white since they're behind the red reflector?

2- Your link for the cargo lamps you say they're 13w, but the ebay link says "7w 11w 13w", and the pic you posted of the bulb looks like it's the 1 * 3w Cree + 4 * 1.5w Plasma which equals 9w, which doesn't match 7, 11, or 13 lol.

3- Reverse lights. I'm interested to see if the 13w ones fit in there, or if that 7.5w one you linked is the biggest/brightest.


And 1 comment to Maxx, the amber LED bubls for the side reflector lights in the headlights is the way to go. The kit I got used white ones and they're a tad yellowish looking now. Amber behind the amber reflector will look a nicer orange matching the other LEDs up front.


Oh and update your 1st post with this info: The moon-roof screws have a single bulb rear dome light. The non-moon-roof screws have a 3 bulb rear dome light. I'd assume the same is for scabs, but pretty easy to verify if a few guys can post up.

For the front signals, damn near a perfect match. Couldn't have asked for a better match, 99% identical to stock LEDs. Also when off, it appears completely white inside too which is nice.

I will, it's ordered but coming from China it'll be a couple weeks... ETA from what it says is mid to late February.

Reptar:
1 - got red because from years of dealing with LEDs, if you have a red lense then red is the way to go. White LEDs wouldn't appear as "red" as you'd hope, by having red LEDs it just adds more depth to the light.

2 - That auction actually is for 3 different bulbs, you want the one like I posted... Has 4x 1.5w LEDs on sides plus a 7w LED facing rear

3 - I'll test them this weekend and see if they fit. I think they're 0.3" longer, which doesn't appear to fit in there visually BUT I saw another thread and I think they may barely fit. The 13w barely fit in cargo lights too. If they fit, I'll be ordering another pair of them to swap out.

For me, no load resistors for only replacing fronts. When I do the rears, I think I will need them OR if I'm lucky since mine is 2010 I maybe can just replace a flasher... it's a long shot though and probably still have to install them for brake lights to keep cruise control happy.

Good work man. You should be raptor owner of the month. Now, all I'm waiting for is the projection shots of the reverse lights and 13w in the reverse lights.
