How to remove front license bracket

Mine has those nasty rivets, looks to be a pain to remove. I have to remove
it to install my new lights. Any more hints on how to remove them?

Just use a 1/4" drill bit (or smaller) and drill straight thru the middle of the rivet. If that doesn't work, just keep using a slightly thicker bit until it's off.

C4 could be used, but you better be an expert!!

Thanks, I drilled out the centre but the claws are still holding. I think I'll just keep using bigger and bigger bits until it releases.

I used a pair of needle nose pliers to get those bad boys out. It's worth it to have the license plate gone.

I hate CA do that very reason. As soon as I get AZ plates that shit is coming off and I'm gonna go office space on its ass.

I don't mind as much on a truck. There was no way in hell I was putting the front plate on the 370. Just didn't look right.
