Has anyone installed AMP XL power retractable steps on their Raptor?

The XL's will look dumb on the raptor. I had them on my old Tremor. They have a metal cover over them and are not the ones pictured in this thread.

Well… I was just contemplating these steps for the wife’s Gen 3… guess I’ll put that idea on the back burner. I didn’t know they plugged into the OBD port until I watched a YouTube video , just assumed they worked from some manner of door switch. Oh well, I can find another use for $2000. Glad I looked at this thread.

You could hardwire them into the truck. No need for OBD.
