Goodbye 21 800a, hello 23 801a Avalanche gray!

Just traded my 21 800a i picked up in sept 2021, put 35k on it, bought it new for 71k otd. Dealer is giving me 69K for it as trade.

New truck is 23 Avalanche gray 801a, carbon, moonroof/tailgate, pro power

Its crazy to think you could drive something for 2 years and 35k and still get almost msrp lol.....cant go wrong with a raptor!

Did you pay MSRP or below for the new one? The number that matters is the difference between your trade in and what you pay. $10k too much for your trade is a bad deal if you pay $20k too much for the new one. Dealers are very aware of this. It's one of the standard cons.

Msrp was 84,775....i paid 86,775....so 2k over.

Carmax gave me a appraisal at 67k. Dealer gave me 69k so i was happy. They were originally asking 5k adm. Im happy with my decision as the 21 800a was the best i could do 2 years ago....now was the time to upgrade for me

Congrats! I have a 21 800a too and have contemplated upgrading soon, curious is it worth the $18k-$20k more? Been tough for me to stomach.

I would do it if you can find an 801a near msrp and have equity in your 800a. I had 30k equity in mine

Oh you mean the numbers readout on the temp knobs and the auto stop delete.....haha the new ones features make up for that
