Front hood decal removal/replacement

So my hood decals are toast. See attached picture. The truck is over 4 years so my concern is discoloration due to fading after decals have been removed. I am not opposed to adding a new OEM decal but, I would prefer not to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

Use heat gun to remove stickers
Wax and grease removal for the glue
Clay bar
Cutting/correcting wax
Polish
Finishing sealant

I use Griot's. But Adam's is really good also.
