I have a 2010 Ford svt raptor 4x4 supercab. Looking to do a diesel swap. Has any of you guys done it? what engine and transmission would you recommend? I was told the 5.9l cummins could fit well with the allison transmission. Give me your thoughts...

The 6.2 is already very nose heavy, a Cummins would be worse, by like 400lbs.

Maybe a little 4 banger would be better suited from a weight perspective. Watching to see where this goes, I'm hoping this build ends up with some 6" through bed stacks!

That could work, what one were you thinking of?

4bt is 780lbs, 5.9 is 1100lbs

Our 6.2 is ~600lbs

Not saying it isn't doable, Carli makes heavy duty stuff for the diesel crowd, just something to consider.
