Maybe it's unlikey but it certainly isn't unlikely.

Those accelerometer-driven stability control systems *might* rely on knowing the dimensions of a vehicle such that they might actually be able to calculate the appropriate forces and more importantly *moments* to create in order to stabilize the vehicle.
