Well, new actuator is on, all good. Old one came off in 2 pieces, the splined part was no longer attached to the other parts.

@Dane , few months ago after we bought the truck, we took off the Gen2 shocks the previous owner had installed and put on stock Gen1 shocks. Gen2 shocks ride horribly the lengths are all wrong. Did new pads and rotors at same time, bearings felt tight. No leaky seals yet.

Sweet. Seems like you got it figured out. Those IWEs are a pain. They should definitely be on one piece.
