Any updates on the Cobb tune for 2019? I saw several posts about mid May but nothing on their site as of yet

Keeps getting pushed back, it's the typical "two weeks"...

I’m waiting also, but I don’t mind as long as we get a quality tune.

Not COBB specific, but what changed from 18 -> 19 that has all of the tuners spending so much time trying to make it work? Looking at the official list of model-year changes doesn't suggest any noteworthy drivetrain changes - although obviously that is not the case given how long MPT and now COBB is taking to make it work.

it was the same story for the changes from 17 to 18.

While there aren't any major changes, there is a ton of difference in everything from the steering rack to the PCV system. Ford is ultimately starting to get back to how they were in the 60s, where every single model year had different parts that do not cross-reference. Some things remain interchangeable, but lots of parts are unique.

hell, for the entire 1961-1970 decade, just the deck lid for Galaxies lists as 4 different parts, for EACH YEAR. That is literally 40 different trunk lids for ONE car model. NONE interchange.

Just got this reply back from an inquiry email to Cobb

    Hi Brent,

Thanks for contacting COBB Tuning. My name is HJ and I'll be happy to assist you.

Our Ford development team is diligently at work right now to bring out support for the 2019 model. At this moment, we only have a tentative release date for summer 2019. If you subscribe to our Facebook page or create an account on our website, we will announce it when it is about to be released.

Let me know if there's anything else I can assist with. Thank you!
