Icecobra, you should travel a bit, this may be a shock to you, but not everything on CNN and Fox news is true. Just because some writing on a sign is not in English it doesn't mean the place is dangerous. How you get from that to IED's is truely shocking to read.

Regardless of whatever you meant. Next time you're going to comment on something like this, keep it to yourself...it will make you look a WHOLE lot less ignorant and you'll be doing your nation a service by not reinforcing the negative stereotypes that exist about Americans.

Isn't this America were one can still express their opinion? Freedom of speech etc.... Who are you to tell someone to "keep it to yourself" and call people ignorant? If you don't like it then don't read it or stop coming to this forum.

Laurie- nice rack.

I used the CVT rooftop tent on my trip to Alaska. Rained a lot and no leaks at all. Only problem is once your setup you can't travel anywhere. Getting a smaller dualsport bike to bolt on back next time out.
Also in the bed of the truck is the Decked.com pullout trays. 2 full length pull outs to access safety equipment and such. Made in the USA too.

Made it to Deadhorse / Prudhoe bay and back - 8700 miles

2015... The year everyone thinks everyone else wants to hear their opinion. If its not about tents keep it to your self and take it over to the Off Topic section. That is what it is for!

I'm going to be working on my camping setup since I'm finally getting out to use it at the end of the month. Since it doesn't look like I posted this here, here is my setup.

I still need to sort out my bed storage/water protection. I really want a rolling top and bedrug but that won't be able to happen til later. Thinking about getting one of these for luggage and outfitting one of my big pelican cases for camping/cooking accessories.

You could get one or two of these husky tool boxes. Heavy duty and fit a ton of gear. I've bee very please with it. They sit about an inch or two above the lip of the bed so it should work with your setup. They run about $65 @CineSLR

Nice Land Rover - love the exo-cage on it :)

I've got the AutoHome Columbus on the Raptor - similar to the Maggiolina but opens in a wedge shape on gas shocks instead of the crank handle with the flat roof. I went for the Carbon Fibre option to keep the weight down and then got a bit carried away building an obscenely heavy roof rack. :)

Just stumbled accross this thread looking for something else but thought I would add some pictures of our recent camp outs.
