I ordered one to try out. After hearing some of the pains of full CAI installs I thought this is a better first choice to try.

Others are saying the K&N and subsidiary branded filters are worth no horsepower or torque.

@Guy, I won’t do the FRF search or google for you and provide you a free education, but the information is there for you to find.

I have that one. Does it make more power = don't know. It does have a lot more surface area and when doing a lot of dusty trails it will outperform a filter with less

Thus they are on my shelf.

Heck I can’t even give them away!

I see a lot of guys saying Ill put on a cold air intake in here cause the filter does not make any power. Do you guys know at all that the intake wont make more power either? The intake/exhaust will not give you any HP or TQ once the truck is tuned. Its a complete waste of money unless you are paying for the sound only factor. Anyway not to dog the sponsors on here that sell intakes and other stuff but in reality did anyone on here ever put an intake on and took their car to the dyno? if no one has done that just to prove things Im saying I can go buy an intake and buy an exhaust and do a before and after dyno pull on the same dyno back to back or wait for the truck to be the same temp. There are only 3 mods you can do to this truck that will actually give you power.

1. Tune (best bang for the buck)
2. Intercooler (no HP gain but you wont loose HP as much on the hot runs if you are hot lapping the truck)
3. Bigger Turbos

Please correct me if Im wrong but I believe the stock intake is perfect just with a filter since the filter wont do anything either but give you a bit better sound out of the truck. I know this subject may hurt some feelings but am I just talking out of my butt here?
