The Kevlar inserts start arent heavy if you go level 3 or 3+. Lots of cop cars have them these days but they usually have a reinforced hinge. I don’t see the specs on the F150 responder to see if they have the reinforced hinge but I figure the Kevlar inserts may not add that much weight. I don’t plan on doing windows because that’s way too much weight I’m just saying add a little James Bond surprise would be cool I’m thinking about maybe getting an RTS tactical shield and mounting that behind the front seat.
