F*n New Guy living in the Mojave north of the LA mountains in CA. I searched high and low for a SCab terrain, but had no luck. I made a down payment on one in northern LA at the end of July, but it got sold out from under me and I was back to square one. Finally one popped up in Indianapolis, so I bought a one-way ticket and drove it back in two days. 30 miles on it when I shook hands, and 2,200 when I pulled into the garage. I was concerned with engine break-in, so I made a point to vary the RPMs the whole ride and take frequent breaks to mill around a city or two. First move when I got home was changing the oil. I read on one of the FRF forums to toss a couple rare earth magnets on the oil filter, so those are on order. I think my next will be checking out Rust-Oleum's "Rock Guard" spray. So far the truck is completely stock and unremarkable, but my eye is on more robust bump stops and more serious brakes.
