Hey guys,
I recently bought a VHF truck mounted radio and was curious if anyone had experience with Anderson Power Poles. It seems that they are widely used in mobile VHF installations and are often used with the Anderson cigar lighter adapter which contains a 20A fuse. Ideally, I would like to attach the Power Pole connectors to the radio itself and then use the cigarette adapter to power the unit. I would like to keep the installation as temporary as possible even though the cigar lighter is not the most ideal method of doing it, so I am prepared to install the radio by wiring directly to the battery.
Any thoughts or experience with these connectors?

I've used them for many things including connecting my upfitter to pass-through wires. Anderson connectors have been around for a long time and they work great.
