Now you need to remove the KV Antenna plug from the piece you just removed. As you can see there are six screws that hold the cup holder in place. The red arrow is the antenna thing you need to switch and the other two red marks are the two center clips that also hold the center trim piece on. As you can see the new cup holder is installed here.

Now you need to take out the “plug” where the media bin lamp goes, I just pushed it out from the backside, you can reach it behind the shifter. Put the new lamp in from the front side (yellow arrow) you will be able to tell which side is up. Then pull the wires through.

The media bin light stays on all the time and plugs in to the center console light thats always on, we are also gonna plug this in to the glovebox light that you’re going to install. The place for the glove box light is empty and is on the top of the glove box opening.

Run the wires to the left, there is a metal clip and a christmas tree clip that comes on the glovebox lamp, it attaches to the left of the light there is a place just for both of them to clip to. The place for the christmas tree clip is on the inside of the glovebox lip, its where the two wires join(yellow/black-red/black. You kinda have to feel for it with your hand.

Next, take the felt piece off, below the glovebox/footwell, there is three christmas tree push pins that hold it on, this where you connect the cup holder harness. Both harnesses need to be routed through the center console and to the footwell/glovebox to connect. I will leave the routing to you, obviously you don’t want the harnesses showing.

Continued in part 3 thread.
