Great story, I have a black lab beagle mix which we got from a shelter. She came from VA, I know she had a litter of pups before we met. All of her pups were adopted in the weeks before we found her. Her name was QT but we now call her Abbey.

That is one awesome story! I have a special heart for dogs much less ppl in the services. He Must have taken a hard hit, knowing his dog wouldn't be back by the time he arrived home.

No kids here,,just me and the wife. And our two mutts which came from the shelters. I am grateful for the companionship they give my wife while I am gone and the laughter they create while I am home.
