I am just finishing up some wiring on the race radio and air horns. And if I can solder this PL259 connector right the first time might have enough time to do my Fennix cannons as well.

I ordered covers from Carid (a vendor) last week. Despite calling at the time to try and expedite they still have not shipped. Useless. I have both blue and yellow tint film as a fall back if anyone needs.

Well, unfortunately, I thought I selected Overnight but tracking info shows delivery to the casino Monday night! Damn it!


Update: 01/13/16 - Ordered a 2nd set OVERNIGHT w/Confirmation - I'll just return the first set. I just have to remember to get BOTH sets from the Casino when I'm there.

New rubber on, WSI Rack One with 2 tire holders and fuel/high lift rack installed, rear facing Whelen Ambers installed with strobe and steady options, now to get the dam radio programmed and installed.

I need to drop some passengers so I can load up the 2 uppers, 3 pelican cases, and Night Raptor swag for the event.

Radios installed, engine oil changed, transfer case flushed, gear lube checked and topped off, coolant flushed, spark plugs changed, all other maintenance done. Gear packed and secured. Just need to pack a bag and wait for my codriver ( @FarFromStock ) to arrive this afternoon and we'll be ready to head out with the NC crew in the morning.

I'm still working so I'll start my Snoball prep tonight. lol

I guess now is a good time to install those Whelen Ambers that have been sitting on my workbench for the last year. Once I knock those out and pack, I should be ready to hit the road tomorrow morning. Looking forward to the drive up there!

While I have already completed my first leg of the trip to Snoball. Tonight I will cut the length of my whip antenna shorter to get it closer to where it needs to be but till I get a SWR meter on it it will just be close.
