Was driving home on a small road and had to move over because of an on coming vehicle. Side of the road is pretty beat up and hit a pothole pretty hard. Vehicle acceleration was sluggish and the wrench popped up. Seemed like it was shifting very early and downshifting very late, still in 3rd at 5mph and then down to 1st.
Got home and parked for a couple minutes then went to AutoZone to check the codes. Started her up and no light until I tried to accelerate and it came back.
I saw on another forum someone suggested that since both came up could be something as simple as air filter jarred, MAF, or purge valve...
Any other ideas? Ford said they can get it in on December 5 so I'm gonna start going through some of these.
