A 2008 Toyota highlander didn't yieldon his left turn and thought he could make it through the intersection before me.
I don't know yet if it's totaled. I had it towed to my...
I've been doing all my waxing by hand for the.past 2 years. In a whim I bought a buffer from harbor freight for $16. Thought it may be better then doing it by hand. I am getting ready for my big spring cleaning. Gonna clay bar by hand of course then polish and wax. All McGuire's ultimate...
Just had a tragety happen. I was getting a cardboard box out of my truck when it fell over and scraped against the door leaving hairline scratches. I hit it with some McGuire's polish and most seem to come out but not all any ideas on how to get them gone
Started up my 2012 with 11000 miles to back it down the drive way so I could work in garage and when I started it up it made a funny noise and blew blue tinted smoke out of the tail pipes. When I started it back up to move it back up the drive it did the same thing. Now we juwt got our first...
So now after a long rough winter its it's time to make the raptor shine again. All last spring, summer and fall it'd get washed and waxed at least once a week so it has many good quality coats on. I'm wondering if I should clay bar and start all over to get all the winter salt and grime all...
To him doesn't matter what kind of oil I use as long as its 5w20. But once I go full synthitic I shouldnt go back.
But he said u shouldn't use anything but a motorcraft filter until Im out of warranty.
Interesting though, he also said that Ford offers a Cai and that some aftermarket Cai are...

i must say i'm not happy with the unit. I know i'm not the smartest guy but this thing made me wonder what the hell they were thinking. i had two friends helping me figure this out since the directions were useless. i figured out what my problem was on my first install attempt, i was missing...
And I was disappointed. Not only are the direction terrible but come to find out it won't with with the remote start was a huge let down. I ran out of daylight and put the stock unit back on. I used my my remote start to start it up to make sure all was ok and the remote start wouldn't work on...
My truck almost died. I was just idling light break pressure, stopped and when I put it in park the rpms fell well below 500 and the headlights blinked off. Since I put the new muffler on I can really tell what the motor is doing based on the exhaust sound. It reved itself back up and was fine...
at low idol it's quit, at 2000rpm it rumbles pretty good in the cab.
you can deffenetly tell what the motor is doing based on the exhaust, i thought it died on me when it dipped down around 500rpm.
My dealer says not to put a cai on cause it will void my warranty. My thought is that if I need to go in for service to just take it off and return to stock. Do u think that is feasible? Is there anyway for them to know? Will it show up on the computer? Are they hard to take on and off?
anybody do it? my dealer was teling me about it when i asked he about line-xing the wheel wells, which he had never heard of.... he said the undercoating is a sound deadener and protectent, $200 including the wheel wells, worth it?
