I love my '19 Raptor, but I do have a bit of a soft spot for "real" Toyota vehicles. I love my LX570 that my wife drives. Had since new in 2013 and it has 100k miles and zero issues. Literally drives the same as when I bought it. No squeaks, rattles, anything.
Not saying Tundra is built the...
From the sound clips I've heard online the Gen 3 has a smoother, less farty sound than the Gen 2 and a lot appears to be attributed to the trombone style exhaust where they make the left bank/right bank exhaust equal length. See details below.
Anyway, does any aftermarket manufacturer plan to...
Have a few month old Banks Pedal Monster. It works great and really helped throttle responsiveness. You can adjust between 30 different throttle curves (I liked City 8) to suit your needs. I am only selling because I am going custom tune.
Pick-up in DFW or will ship. Asking $225 OBO.

Dropped my 2019 Raptor off for a few small things to fix at the dealer:
1. Door keypad loose (plastic clip broke apparently)
2. Sunroof stuck open (two plastic pieces broke)
3. Condensation line issue in passenger footwell (HVAC water on floorboard)
So, they gave me a brand new XLT F-150 (8...
3.5 Ecoboost V-6: 400hp, 500 lb-ft.
3.5 Powerboost V-6 Hybrid: 430hp, 570 lb-ft
What does that mean for our Raptors? Well, if history is any indication, our engines make 75 more horsepower than the "standard" 3.5 Ecoboost and 40 more lb-ft of torque.
If that applies directly to the new...
Normal throttle mode sucks. Sport mode is too much, revs up, harsh shifts etc. This lets you set it between 30 different ways.
hmmm....anyone tried it...
This is going to be fun when the TRX comes out. May push Ford to offer a V8 again in the Raptor. I love my ‘19 Raptor, but I do wish it had a big, healthy V8 under the hood versus the TTV6...
Read a few stories on Raptor’s smoking after extended idle times, a State Troopers Ecoboost blowing due to all the engine idle time, etc.
So now on my 2019 Raptor, I’m paranoid about idling for more than a few minutes. Thinking objectively, that’s ridiculous for a new 2019 vehicle...
It appears forum member, Beinkounter, took his Raptor in for an issue and they replaced his muffler accidently with a Limited muffler and now it's all quiet.
So, since, I'm not the biggest fan of the stock exhaust on my 2019 Raptor and I actually am mildly interested in making it quieter, I...
Has anyone seen this before? Looks like a rat chewed on the foam of my 2019 engine cover!!! Vehicle has less than 4k miles. I live in the middle of a pretty urban city but I guess anything is possible.
Any other ideas on what it might be?
Good morning fellow Raptor owners, does anyone know if the Navigator and F-150 Limited have the fake engine noise piped through the speakers like the Raptor?
Also, for those that have tuned out the fake sound, does the engine sound similar just quieter?
Personally, I don’t mind it that much...
