Hi all,
My OEM tires are wearing thin and I would like to get new ones. I principally drive on road so would prefer a smoother riding quieter tire but one that would also perform well in snows and could still go off road occasionally
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated...
Have them/FORD give you huge discount and full service agreement . If repairs are done well this could be blessing in disguise if you plan on keeping truck for long haul
Need some help please.
I live in north east, it has been exceedingly cold last few days but dry. All of a sudden , it appears that at least one of my rear sonar backup detectors is going off continually unprovoked . I thought intially they might be dirty so cleaned them thoroughly but the...
Glad you both are ok….. that could have been a bigger disaster.
Could you give us all some particulars re: presumed cause? May help save someone else’s life
Thanks
Bigger garage……. No can do!
Net is possibility but would need suspension poles and prob a frame. Motion detection squak box might work if I could find one but birds had to fly in line of sight of it and these birds are like kamikazes
BB , pellet gun no good
Funny that bird looks in mirror and craps all the time!
I looked on Amazon and the majority of bird repulsive devices are mirrored . Glad I didn’t buy one.
I wish they made a battery powered owl or hawk with moving head and wings instead of those one piece statues...
Ok guys, here’s a new one I believe ….does anyone have a surfire way to keep birds from Sh***** all over my truck?
It’s too big for my garage and they laugh at the fake owl I have overlooking driveway. I swear you’d think there was a flock of eagles in the neighborhood.
Skip the funny...
Corona, I saw no other opening in the door other than the rubber plug on the inside right lower margin of the door. Where exactly are these other holes you speak of in relation to the rubber plug? I imagine they are really blocked up or my car is a lemon and simply does not have them !!!! Which...
Sonic, thanks for the note, what are the pillars you speak of and where do they originate so that drainage would accumulate in the door? I am suprised that door has rubber plug in first place I would think there would be a permanent opening for continuous drainage.
Fortunately, a syringe...
Follow up from Dr. Mike:
So, I was in process of unloading gear from the truck in anticipation of bring it to dealer this week. As I opened the right rear passenger door I saw some dripping and when I shook door hears the sloshing! I found rubber plug at bottom of door and pulled it out and out...
How do you clear the channels? Are they roof channels or under carriage channels. I am not tech savvy. It always seems to be on right side for some reason. Last time they said it was that rear bent that some one esle also mentioned. I am wondering if that opened. Again allowing this to happen...
Not rear brake light or rear window apparently. Have not used a sky light window in long time and never had problem with it, however I see your pony re: drainage from there. I made appt at dealer ….. since I have had so many problems with this truck since day one , I did buy extended warranty...
Hi and thank you for response . Head line is dry and carpeting strangely appear dry this time as well. Last time carpeting was wet in back on right side principally in back passenger seat . However on both occasions , first one and now this one, water can be heard actually sloshing on right side...
Hello all,
Well, now completely frustrated. I have a loaded 2018 that has been nothing but problems since inception. Now I have a recurrent problem with excessive water under floor boards. I had this once before and they attributed it to entrance of water between cab and bed and supposedly...
Sounds right for local driving. Do you know if prior owner was using regular or premium fuel? That may impact as well. Best mileage I ever got was 19 on highway. I usually run regular fuel or half and half
Hold on, on second closer view, they are properly inserted on back wall of bed however have become detached from ReTrax box! Reach up under box with them and reinsert
Those are definitely drainage hoses from your “ReTrax”retractable bed cover, however yours appear unattached. They should run from the box down and insert in the openings on the lower back wall of the bed. You are best advised to reinsert them so any excess condensation does not spill into bed...
