I want to run the 3" pipe to a magnaflow 3" in 3" out & remove the resonator. Not only should it sound better, if I stay 3" all the way it should slightly improve performance, right? I just don't know if I should wait to remove the resonator after warranty expires. Any info will be appreciated.

How many quarts does it take?

Install took about 2 hours. Splicing was the most time consuming. Had to do it right with a soldering gun & heat shrink insulators. Bolting up & zip-ties took no time. So easy, even a girl could do it.

Okay, install took about 10 minutes. 13mm socket to remove 6 bolts & 1/2" hex head for new bolts. A drip of fluid was noticed when installing. I cleaned it up & will keep an eye on it. I ordered candy red instead of ruby red, because their ruby red is not metallic. I think when my truck is...
