Having a small problem and if anyone can help let me know...

Update. I went ahead and tapped into the blue and white wire. I have the ambers working fun off the six switch 4. I have not been able to get the clear Baja light to come on. They only thing that I left unplug was the existing harness to OEM third brake light. I was assuming I did not need that due to tapping the white GJ wire into the (blue and white) wire as written in the instructions.

I cannot find where I connect the Grey piece from the GJ harness. It is in the first picture.

the second picture is of what I unplugged from the OEM brake light. It has three pins and I was thinking that just stays unconnected.

so the two pictures are the only two that I cannot find anything to connect them.

Very good afternoon
I don't know if you solved your challenge but...
The gray connector from the New GJ Harness goes inside the headliner substituting the original harness connector
You have to follow the original harness back unplug it and connect the GJ Gray connector.
You completely eliminate the original harness

Best regards and respects
