Live Shock leaking at 3500 miles

Checking my Air pressures yesterday , find this thick red oil coming from sliver motor can threaded into aluminum body, Passenger rear . Is this common ? Going to take to dealer after work today

I would get your dealer to take a look at it. There was another member that posted a few months ago about one of theirs leaking and the dealer had to replace it.

Should be an easy fix!

Took it in right before dealer closed ,they took pictures and they are going to submit to Ford. I better get no Bullcrap truck is 100% stock , i haven't even been on a dirt road yet.

3500 miles and no dirt road??? That might be your problem, you need to have more fun.

My 2011 had left rear replaced for similar leak discovered due routine Dealer LOF at around 15k. Dealer considered it a normal warranty repair.

My 2019 driver side rear was replaced at less than a few hundred miles just a month into ownership. I ended up taking it to a dealer different than my purchasing dealer. Purchasing dealer service department wouldn’t work with me at all on the initial visit for diagnosis.

This COVID 19 crap has me working 80+ hour weeks. I will get it out there soon.

yep, not normal but happened to me at 1800 miles. Interesting thing, mine leaked on the same spot and same side (rear passenger) Took it to the dealer, they immediately order the replacement and got it replace the next day.

They ordered a replacement shock today , as well as they are going to fix the bottom cushions on front racaros ,They were never clipped in correctly from factory on driver and passenger seat, I guess they make some type of metal replacement clips that wont pop off as easy .
