Best Intercooler for Stock Location?

Except the OEM IC is silver

Dude... It IS a radiator.

I didn't think I would need to explain this but, radiators in cars and intercoolers in cars are designed to have air flowing through them. That is how they work. They don't work without airflow - so their radiant heat properties while having no airflow through them is not relevant.

Pretty sure the impact of a paint layer less than 2 mils thick is negligible in the worst case. And I am quite certain the radiators in EVERY production car are black.

Yea oem was silver, i just thought the black was a lil different, may stand out lil less. Being oem tanks are black(plastic).
Figured in my California weather the temp difference with the coating would probably negligible. If its not making as much power in stop and go traffic, damn.
Go with what ya like, I personally dig the black, and CVF claims no issues with the coating. So im good.

I plan on removing those useless shutters in front of the intercooler so I am thinking the black one would be more stealthy.

Any coating on a heat exchanger is bad, it hinders efficiency. Radiation properties are not a consideration as the intercooler is designed to have air flowing through it.
Just for reference, this is what you said. Gonna set aside your incorrect postulation that the radiation properties are not a consideration IN A RADIATOR.
