Is there a way to allow the side mirror “spot” lights to remain on while moving? They shut off when you start moving. I’ve searched for a thread and the forscan sheets but haven’t found what I’ve needed.

thx in advance!

I honestly don't even get how those work TBH

I have on mine but its just the typical turn signal light incorporated into the mirror only difference is you have a button to turn on individually? I mean hell don't they just turn on automatically when you open door or lock/unlock? I know they won't turn on when the truck is off like the bed lights, basically I kinda struggle to understand what the point of the button option is since I seemingly need to have all the other lights on in order to get em on?

Let me know if that works. I’ll try it tomorrow on mine

The one downside to this mod is if you forget to turn the lights off, the battery would drain... other than that this is a great mod and works great.

I went this route and soldered the circuit board and removed the gray wire pin.

This Video method works just fine too. It shows you more in depth how to remove the gray pin from the harness without damaging anything. I couldn’t figure it out without forcing it.

The puddle lights are underneath the mirror. The spots only power on with the switch.

I've had the spots-on-demand mod done for awhile and it's one of my favorite free mods. I wish there was a way to be able to turn on the puddle lights on demand, but I haven't found one yet.
