Well the pump is in and seems fine. Troubleshooting a tach issue (unrelated to the pump) before I can get data about pressure, drive it, etc.

I'm installed, and up and running just great. I don't have an oil gauge (other than stock) yet though. Any idea how to get oil pressure on the SCT X4? I don't see it in the available gauges. Stock gauge just looks "normal". But we all know that's a very broad gauge.

Any more information between the melling 10397-br and the Livernois Powerstorm LPP701108 oil pump? From how I understand it the Livernois pump is Ford OEM pump with the billet gears installed.
Curious what the bypass spring on that would be? The Melling I read was 95 with the option of an 85psi spring to be swapped out.

Can't speak much to the Powerstorm other than an OEM pump with billet gears is my understanding too. The Melling (with the 95 spring) has been running just fine. I can confirm it does come with the other spring option, I think it was red. I've definitely gotten on it a few times, but I have yet to go out and seriously abuse the truck via off-roading nor towing. That's coming.

Running the Melling Oil pump with 95psi spring. On cold startup truck runs about 80psi. Idle 30psi and normal driving around 50-55psi.

The stock oil sending unit is only on and off.
PCM does not do pressure. So getting the SCT to display it is not going to happen.
Mechanical sending unit is the only way to monitor oil pressure.

That's what I was guessing. I've got my sandwich plate installed, but I haven't gotten around to a real gauge yet. Too many projects.
