I took my Raptor today in for service at Larry H. Miller Ford in Mesa, Arizona. They have at least 9 Raptors on the lot ready to be bought at less than sticker as they're selling them at MSRP and they have a new customer thank you discount of $500.

I am in no way affiliated with Larry H Miller Ford in Mesa, Arizona

That’s a garbage discount, they will be sitting on those for a while

While the discount may not be great, they WILL sell them. Not everyone one that purchases a Raptor does research on finding the best deals out there. They go in to the dealer, see it, make their best deal and go home happy with a new truck.

what SSWIM said. In my case, was on the home from a chemo treatment last August (cancer free, was told again yesterday, yay.) and was rather bummed, drove by our dealership, saw this truck, went in said "gimme a price on my 16 Lariat, and put me in that Raptor right There!!" Salesmans dream if there ever was one. I've been happy since. I knew the salesman, he gave me some off, I got what I wanted for my F150, not much dickering at all. Happy with it.

That is a great point (also congrats on beating cancer). Many people just go buy a truck and just pay whatever the dealerships sells it for after a little bit of negotiating. If you go to two dealers in Arizona and both tell you they are selling at sticker with no discount, then the third one tell you $500 off they take the $500 and call it good. Heck many just take the first deal. And to be totally blunt to many people buying these trucks saving 1-3k is not worth it to them to call up different dealers and spend time on the internet searching for the best price. They just find what they want and buy it.

Impulse purchase 101! Lots of folks get emotional on the dealer's lot and won't leave without driving it home. I could leave the dealer now and do a little research, however WTH I want it now. Give it to me!
