I did mine. Don’t have pics on me. I would recommend not to use an impact to take the skid plate off or to put it back on. It’s easy to break the nut tabs. Just get a big 1/2” ratchet (15mm/13mm). I also put a dab of aeroshell grease/anti-seize on the bolts when I put them back in. Think the torque spec was 50. I originally took it to a pro liner sprayer and he broke one with his impact and stopped. Had to cut the bolt off with a grinder and get a new one. After all that I just got impatient and did mine myself.

yes, i broke a nut tab taking mine off with a normal socket wrench...was cranking to hard. Had to cut off the bolt...quick trip to lowes for a new bolt. Take your time when removing the bolts...in the front i would say use a cresent wrench on the nut tabs to keep them stable while you crank. Unfortunately, you can't do that for the ones in the back...so tread lightly.

Use an impact driver on the skid plate bolts? That's crazy talk.
I take the skid plate off every time I do an oil change - every 6,000 miles and I have 80,000+ miles on my rig. I do it by hand with a socket wrench and never had any kind of problem.

Um, I recommended NOT to use one. We both agree...

I thought about plasti dip when I first bought the truck over a year ago. I even have plasti dip in the garage. Should do that one of these days look great and can go back to stock in 5min. And done again with ease. Nice.

Wish I would have done the back side. You can see it. Guess I need to do a fog light kit to hide that shotty work. Lol...

I painted the ford emblem too. Might hit the raptor logo to match...
