For someone that has now accused multiple people of being sensitive and having their feelers hurt in here it sure seems like you're coming from a place of experience. I thought we were just giving each other a hard time, maybe I shouldn't have called people that leave cowards. Everyone should be...
Its strange, have all of this free time now with my lightning being so much faster than the old Raptor and I never have to waste my time at a gas station. I get back home in record time and plug my truck in, and boom, next time I go somewhere I have a full tank of sparkle juice. I don't know...
That's how my father in law is. He has all of the same benefits that I do to owning a lightning and then some. He never goes further than 100 miles from home without flying there, ever. He absolutely will not consider it because it's forced down his throat so much by "the other side".. He could...
I'll bite. Old people, put your readers on, envirohaters, put your delta smlet stomping waders on, shts about to get deep.
My situation is close to ideal for an EV truck. So I got one.
I bought a Gen 3 raptor in November of 21. It was the truck I wanted for years and when the Gen 3 was...
There is a soundscreen version and a standard version. My raptor had the soundscreen from factory. 801a included it at the time, not sure if anything has changed since MY21.
The dealership replaced mine with the standard version after I questioned the idiot at the service counter several times...
Yep, exactly. I had the service writer tell me the "top tech" didn't hear the clunk or my exhaust rattle the first time and I was floored. I had my key fob in my hand and we were behind my truck and I remote started it for him and it hammers away like always on startup and I asked if he could...
I had my truck in about 2 weeks ago and they replaced both rear shocks. I would have sworn it was coming from the front as well, but replacing the rears seems to have fixed my clunk completely. It feels like such a better truck. I can't believe I had to wait over a year and 25,000 miles before...
Yeah, when I sold cars we would try to sell them right off of the truck after service had closed or on a Sunday. There is a whole checklist of pre-delivery items that a service tech is supposed to do to make a vehicle ready for the sales lot. If you're handy and have a friend as the service...
Dealer ordered 2 rear shocks for my truck. Hopefully they fix the clunk, but I would have sworn it was coming from the front and back both. He says they should be in in 7-10 days.
My truck is in the shop for a leaking axle seal and the suspension clunk and while I was looking around about the SSM information I saw this regarding the transmission and harsh/delayed shifting issues. My service guy is on lunch so I'll try to see if he can take a look at it for me as well...
I've always figured it was relays or modules readying themselves in the even that I decided to touch my tailgate release buttons or try to push the door code buttons. Almost like an pre-activation arming of the system in case it needed to react to user input.
