I might go that route. I have a Sears right next to my house so I'm thinking Diehard.

LOL! I love it!

I ended up taking the battery out and taking it to my neighborhood Autozone. They charge it for free.

And if you had seen me trying to remove te battery, it looks JUST like that picture above.

Thank God for YouTube....

Ok, what does THAT red thing mean?

Ok, the internet says

"The Magic Eye® that is used in Motorcraft batteries provides 4 stages of indication, they are:
1. Green: battery is charged and the acid level is good.
2. Yellow: Battery is partially dis-charged and the acid level is good. Re-charge the battery or drive the vehicle.
3. Red: Battery is dis-charged and the acid level is good. Charge the battery.
4. Clear and bright: Acid level is low!!! Add distilled water if possible. If not, change out the battery. Do not charge or jump start the battery!!!

While the Magic Eye® is only located in one cell, it is still quite accurate for indicating the state of charge of all cells as they are within 95% of the same condition. If there is a catastrophic failure such as an internal short circuit, the battery would be bad, but the eye would still show green as the density of the acid is still technically correct. This is very rare."

So it must be true.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with six-pack batteries; I have killed four in the last five years.

My Ford battery let me down twice at the beginning of this month and I exchanged it for a DieHard Platinum, now this is a Battery! But heavy as hell!

Ok, so I now found this

http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f39/dead-battery-already-17633/index7.html#post300401

"Thought I would throw it out there the red/orange eye on motor craft means that cell is at 60% percent state of charge or above. They no longer use the green ball. Also it was only made to monitor the cell that had the highest failure rate. Since the eye was never very accurate most motor craft batteries on the self no longer have this eye."

It's also on the Internet, so it must be true, right?
