ordered 3/21, scheduled build date is 4/29. Got my VIN on 4/11.

You suck. I ordered on 3/4 and still don't have my build date.

I'm freaking dying! Ordered 1/5/13, was built 3/25, and am still waiting. Thought it would be here by now. And the worst part is, it has been about an hour away from the dealership since Thursday. Hoping/praying/dreaming it will be here tomorrow!

Mine was built 3/26 and I think it's finally at the rail yard a state away. Still not supposed to be here for at least another week and maybe two! I'm at day 21 since the build day which is already one of the longest of 2013. I'm just hoping it's here next week!

Any thoughts on how long I should wait after build date to ask for an update? How long does a truck normally stay at the factory after build? Or, is it just too much of a crapshoot to even make a guess?

Call SVT the day after your build (or two days) and they can tell you if it's on a rail car. Mine was 200 miles west of Detroit the day after it was built.

Nice, had that happen to me as well. You should have a build date by the end of the week.

Mine took 8 days before it left. It depends on any issues there and ???.
