Thanks Randy. I believe UA was the standard black used prior to 2010 on most Ford vehicles. Better than flat black I guess.

I think so. Ford is still using it as the only "black" paint option on the 2011 Ranger. If you can find a black Ranger in a dealer's lot that should give you an idea of the appearance.

Here I had resigned myself to a 2012 for tux black...BUT....got a call from my dealer today...my 2011 tux blk Scab has been scheduled for 5/2 build....go figure (order date was 1/27)....so maybe there's some hope for other folks here
