What bumper is that? Do you have more pics? I really like the pinstripe on the hood. I was just thinking of that the other day though I would us green or something different. Did you do red behind the svt in the vents?

I made that bumper myself! It was the first one i have ever built and couldn't see spending 2000 on a bumper when the metal only cost 500 and yes it is ALL chromoly 4160 steel. Don't have the SVT vents done. I was going to due Yellow pinstripes but the lights are red and the red on the steering wheel would have drove me crazy i'm sure. Green would be great!

DAMN DUDE! Great job on the bumper..Nice welds looks awesome.
So you bought the 3M meterial and cut it to size or it came cut to size already?
I would love to do this but don't feel like paying a fortune.

Rep for that one hoss! Nice work for a first go around. What do you do f'r a living? Something tells me that fabrication might be in your daily routine.

My hood idea is a little different the stripe will taper. I don't want to give out too much detail, so someone doesnt steal my idea. If I do something different I'll pass it on to you guys.

Thanks!!! Been told by many people that they thought a fab shop like: N-Fab, SDHQ, or ADD built it. When I first built mine no one had the stock tow hooks left on the truck and i wanted that. With a few other things I knew i wanted i could make it the way i wanted it at the price i wanted. Lets just put it this way payed for more than a case of beer to sit around and build it. Plus the fact I can say i did it makes it that much more special.

Your bumper looks nice, you did a good job! You ever thought about building one for the rear?

Yep it is on the list for the spring/summer. Haven't decided yet on a design i really like yet. Need to put pen in hand and start drawing. Due to majority of the weight in the front of these trucks it will more than likely be fully covered in plate metal. It will still be chromoly, but probably not the desert runner look. More like a road armor or something similar
