Hella Micro DE Series Xenon Driving Lamps are a compact 35w HID light. These lights pack an impressive punch especially for the size! I have used these lights on two other vehicles for more than 6 years on and off-road with great results very rugged yet to replace a bulb or ballast. Most commonly, you’ll see these lights on BMW GS adventure motorcycles. The kit comes with everything you need and is fairly easy to install. I like how stealth these lights are, and so I mounted them on the underside of the hood and cut openings in the grill. Utilizing two of the OEM hood/grill bolts on each side I bridged them with 1” piece of flat-bar steel and mounted the light brackets to the flat-bar. The kit comes with a relay that provides connection to the high-beam circuit for light operation I have not connected the lights to an Upfitter switch yet. I would call this a 5 beer project, but careful there is 25000 volts the ballast.

Cool lights. I would have moved them from grille to the lower grille thing on the bumper though. On the upper, they look like they should be another amber from a distance. But great idea no doubt
