I just got an "update" from my dealer and he said my truck is "still in MIchigan on a ramp waiting for a train". My sticker says convoy so my understanding was that meant it was shipped via truck. Anyone know how to verify which method it is actually shipping?

Mine says convoy as well but apparently most trucks go on rail to a rail depot then it goes by truck the rest of the way.

Your dealer can give you the rail car once it leaves. Just my truck was marked as built and status changed to shipped on 12/3 but didn't leave Dearborn until 12/16.

Once it leaves on a rail car, if it is through CSX, you can follow it as it inches across the country. 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279), options 2-1-3. It will ask you whether you want the location or the weight, then for the rail car initials, then the car number. Say done and it will read out the last location they have. It's all automated so you can call 100 times a day if you want.

FYI, my truck had an eta of yesterday 12/22 - still has not arrived.

I was able to follow up my truck via rail, however there hasn’t been a movement update since Dec 17th. At that time the truck had deported a small city in AZ, about 2 hours away from its final destination so I thought it would have it by now (Dec 23rd). My ETA was 12/25. Unless there is a Christmas miracle, I know it won’t be coming in before my ETA date

Unfortunately it will be the trucking that is the delay. My friends F250 got from KTP to Ohio in less than a week, then sat in the rail yard for over a month. Hoping yours isn't the same.

That is what my dealer is warning me about. He said based on how long it’s been taking for vehicles to arrive, it may be a few weeks from the rail yard to get trucked to the dealership.

Hopefully it moves out quick. My truck was at the dealer 2 days after being unloaded off the rail.

@WTX Can you detail your order, blend, built and shipped date again? Did you get the roof, 37's or 35's, Start/stop delete, 2k power, etc... ? I was told "built" on 12/9, awaiting shipping.. and is still waiting on shipping 2 weeks later. Yours was sent to Fredericksburg, correct? Mine is headed to Tomball, would think it pretty easy to send to the Houston area. Ugh...

Has this thread stopped posting because everyone has truck now? because I still don't. Built but not yet shipped. Dealer told me yesterday to expect end of January. I feel like the 9/27 squad has been a curse.
