I think we clearly established that order banks opened 10/1/2021 (about 5 of us placed orders that we confirmed with ford performance as accepted by Ford and waiting to schedule). I'm not sure why all of these dealers keep saying that the order banks aren't open yet. Scheduling isn't open but order banks are.
Just from what I'm reading (here and elsewhere) and hearing from a few local dealers, zone reps may not have informed dealers of their allocations yet.

Maybe dealers don't want to place an order if they don't know what their allocations will be?

In addition, from what my dealer has said in particular, they have a system in the works to convert existing 2021s to 2022s (will still require spec changes to match 2022 order guide offerings). My dealer is waiting for the zone rep to get in touch and inform him how that system will work.

I think it was more of a deal where some dealers are hesitant to place unallocated orders. Those dealers have been waiting to see what allocation they received before contacting customers about orders.

I know dealers like this frustrate many on here, but I would honestly prefer a dealer shoot me straight on allocations rather than submit me an unallocated order that potentially doesn’t get built.

Well your 'friend' is the one who said they had an allocation for a 21 and clearly didn't. But maybe he has changed his ways for the 22...no BS and all.

Your 21 will not 'convert'. Your dealer/friend will need to re-enter into system. Again that one could sit forever unless he actually gets an allocation for it to be picked up.

After reading through many of these posts, I decided to "Chat" on the ford performance website with a representative. I was asked to provide my order number and sales code number. The associate told me it references a 2022 raptor in the system (unscheduled). So that's all the information I have now. Representative said you can check with them every few weeks for an update.

I loved Velocity Blue, what is the difference with Atlas? I've seen pics but only of an Explorer.
I never liked Velocity Blue (too light for me), I liked Lightning Blue which was a little darker and Atlas looks pretty close to Lightning. So far I’ve had a Lightning Blue and Performance Blue Raptor, looks like I’ll be getting an Atlas Blue next.

I think the disconnect is that you can't order on Ford.com and see all of the new colors and option combinations. It seems like the order bank is unofficially open.....
