MSRP for me!!!

Live in CA all of the CA dealers are your typical “used car salesman” who use every line in the book AND are extremely full of themselves indicating that a $20k markup is justified, especially in this market and economy.

My $0.02…they are not going to run out of cars and there is never such a thing as “the last one” or “only one”. I used the Ford website to search through vehicles and dealers along with Car Gurus. Probably made 10-15 inquiries before I found the one! There are a lot of dealers outside of CA who are much more friendly and reasonable than the local guys and in my opinion the process is 100x easier, friendlier with less hassles.

If you look on Car Gurus …the number of Raptors has increased over the past 2-3 weeks. I’m sure many are pre-ordered and/or reserved. There are and/or were a handful of dealers with a $5k markup which is relatively better than the $20k the BIG CITY guys are charging.

Tell us details specifically as to why...
Sure. What I meant was I'm glad I bought the 37 I found in stock locally vs wait for my ordered 35 at MSRP. I wanted a 37 to begin with but like many I couldn't find one at MSRP. The dealer I did find with no ADM only had a 35 allocation left. So I ordered it. In the interim I sold my gen 2. I had been hit twice in the past 7 months totaling over 20K in body work. I got an offer for 1K less than I paid, so I felt with the damage history it had it was a good idea to sell it for a wash. I drove the truck almost 1 year. As a result I've had to rent a car which is about 1K/month. My ordered 35 is probably still a month out. So I paid 1K over sticker for a 37 with everything I wanted in it. First time paying over list for a car. However, all things considered I'm ok with it. Side note I found another local Detroit dealer that was asking 107K for a 37.

Out of around 30 dealerships across different states I called, not one was selling at MSRP. Typical answer was $15k over. What’s the percentage of people on here that got the truck for msrp? 5%? 10%? if so, how..
Whenever mine gets here it, it will be msrp. this is my 4th one with my bud who is the GM.
