GTR is a very capable car, but there's a reason it's never on a list of best driving cars or most exciting. Ugly exterior and interior, with no emotion. Typical Japanese performance car, it's closer to an appliance than a piece of art. Again, fast on track for sure but lacking soul.I own a STI, and have considered a GTR, I am assuming the GT2 would beat a GTR stock but would the GT3? It looks like a bargain as it is half the price. New GT3s are rarer than hens teeth as they have several used for good prices but I would imagine they are beat on and ragged on worse than any used STI would be. No offense but I wouldn't want to own anything used from any one on this forum at all, I automatically assume it would have been used to its fullest limits.
My 2016 STI was purchased new in 2016 and has 21k miles on it never raced all stock.
GT2 and GT3 are very different cars. I'd like to have both, but aside from the GT2 being about double the price, the GT3 is the one to get first IMO.
