BTW... disconnecting the battery overnight did not fix the issue. Also, seems to happen more when the outside temp gets above 85 - 90.

Bummer, i think it’s dealer time. Return to stock, drive it a few days and take it in. Make sure all your monitors show ready.

Hopefully this makes sense. I am a very poor excuse for a less then mediocre photographer.

Needless to say, I failed to ensure the sensor was connected using the Tether provided by S&B at both ends.

The tether is simply an extension, which connects the sensor to the stock module, and that is because they are further apart from one another. If this doesn’t work, I have also witnessed friends use a spray, literally called “mass air flow cleaner”. They spray it directly on the sensor, reinstall, and BINGO, code gone.

Also, did you verify the sensor was installed in the correct orientation? If I remember correctly, you have to line it up a curtain way so that it will read as the factory did

Thank you... you saved the day. When I checked, per your pics, it had either fallen out or never installed. It was hanging below the intake itself. Took me awhile to get it installed correctly, it's a rather tight fit and the rubber o-ring kept pushing thru to the inside. But once installed test drove it for several miles to heat up the engine came back shut the truck up then restarted which is usually when the error code was thrown and no error. Tested a few times and so far so good. Greatly appreciate the pics...showed me exactly what I needed to do. THANK YOU !!!

Resurrecting this thread...dealer had my truck for cam phaser repair and after reinstalling my S&B intake, I’m throwing the P0113 code. I checked my connections and they’re solid, tried the battery disconnect overnight and still have the CEL on. Is this a connector orientation issue?
