To be on the safe side, you better check the oil level now! Some trucks were delivered to customers a little low. LOL.

Sounds like a cool/different project. Beats an LS swap, for originality anyway.
Do have a new in the crate LS3 sitting here but it's going in a Friends '56 BelAir. Gotta keep the Fords all Ford.

OP are you by any chance user “timewarp 1966 F100” or something similar from the Garage Journal.com forums?

Sorry if not, but I recalled a similar user with an ECO F100 that had an awesome build thread that had to be 75+ pages. It was a super popular build.

It had the SOUND with other engine but decided there is a lot more than sound. I will keep this exhaust initially but may add a couple more mufflers if need be. The last swap truck I did I kept stock exhaust and was so quiet no real sound.


I like your priorities.

I run a JDM tune and I'm very happy with it.

Yes, It's now 280+ pages and 2.6 Million views

this is the 4th EcoBoost swap into a 1966 Ford Truck. Hope it's the best too.
