Perhaps if Magnetic had cooler name it would help. It seems to me that folks are falling for marketing name when it comes to 2017 Avalanche and 2018 Leadfoot color. If they were called light gray non-metallic and dark gray non-metallic nobody would buy them.

Both good colors but there is for sure some marketing hype going on.

I have an old 1989 Chevrolet Blazer I use as my every day driver and it's color is called "Storm Gray Metallic". I always thought that was the coolest name for a color. Very similar to this color. Maybe if the Magnetic was called that?

Nah, I'd have bought it... as I mentioned, the primary concern for me when it comes to vehicle color is how dirty it will look after 3+ months of not getting a bath.

Really, champagne-colored vehicles are the best in that regard (at least for the dirt around here), but the light grey of Avalanche isn't bad.

Those two colors are unique and that does indeed make them interesting.

What kind of confused me when I first heard the name Avalanche, I thought of the fugly Chevy Avalanche from 15 years ago with the horrible gray cladding. The same design theme used for the ugliest car of all time, the Pontiac Aztek. Be careful those pictures hurt your eyes just looking at them.

I originally wanted the lightening blue, but when I found this one for $1,000 over invoice I fell in love with the color. I think the problem with the grey is that it doesn’t pop in photos. However, in person it is so understated with the black wheels that it becomes almost stealthy. I liked that and couldn’t get it out of my mind. It took a month of trying to find a better deal (in blue or black) and even when I did, I realized I preferred the grey. No regrets. The truck is perfect in grey!

Beautiful truck. I ordered the BL's too. Great combination.

On my Tuxedo Black 2012 Scab I found a place that made me some "Raptor" decals for the bedside that are about 16" long and 3-4 inches tall. They were made in flat black and it gives a "ghost" look on the truck People don't see them at first. Now I want some flat silver or flat gray ones for my new-coming 2018 Magnetic for the same look but so for have not found anyone who makes them. Anyone ?
