Why do we not have a diesel option

There are no diesel F150's and it would cost far too much to R&D one for the Raptor. Personally I'd love a smaller diesel engine. Say like a 5.0L diesel option. I think that would kick ass.

funny thing is the 6.2 block started out as the new ford diesel.

i love diesel motors. For me it was either a f250 6.6 diesel that i would of lifted crazy on 52's lol or a raptor.
Diesel prices here stay constant all the time 1.15-1.20 a litre. Gas 91 goes anywhere from 1.30 to 1.61.
