3 in the center 1 on each side. So if you ran into a DOT ***** he could give you shit for it.

Simple, just add a switch to the 2 additional lights. That way you could turn them off when the po po pulls you over.

Personally,
I would not change those Led's add to them or modify them in any way. They are mandated by the DOT and changing them could get you ticketed

I agree it does need those two extra LED lights to fill what looks like it's missing. Nice I like it.
I would add another two where the front license plate bracket holes are.
