HAP, you must have the volume turned up to high. LOL

But when you load a Tune it does a full KAM reset and some of the KAM is stored in the Nav unit, so It might be possible that you hearing something.
I don't hear anything through my speakers but there sure is a lot of clicking going on in the dash when it starts, this is normal.

I have loaded 5 Star and JDM. Both have the single loud pop at the initializing of the load.
I always turn everything off, but it still does the same thing every time (2014, 800).

If your turning the radio off and still have a pop coming through the speakers you may have an underlying potential problem somewhere in your electrical system.
That's feedback coming through the ground.
